Oct 15, 2019 But then, Blair Davis popped up on Wheel of Fortune and changed the contestant intro game forever. The bearded man from Cardiff, Calif. Decided to get super real when Pat Sajak gave him the mic to tell us about himself. WHAT MADE BLAIR DAVIS POPULAR 'Wheel of Fortune' Twitter page featured Blair's video 24hours after his live appearance on the show. Blair revealed that he is in a loveless marriage. 72-year-old presenter, Pat Sajak introduced the long-beard competitor. The crowd rumbled with laughter after Blair was offered the opportunity to talk about his family. A “Wheel of Fortune” contestant’s viral intro — in which he railed against his “battle-ax” wife and no-good stepkids — was all in good fun, the married couple told The Post Wednesday.

In more than than 6,000 episodes 'Wheel of Fortune,' never has a contestant said something as shocking as this man did Monday night.

Host Pat Sajak asked a contestant named Blair Davis to say something about himself and the answer was rather shocking.

'I've been trapped in a loveless marriage for the last 12 years to an old battle ax named Kim,' he said. 'She cursed my life with three stepchildren ... and I have one rotten grandson.'

Some in the audience giggled and others were left in shock, including Sajak, who sarcastically replied “yay” to Blair’s comment, adding, 'I know you are being facetious.'

Davis then clarified that he was just joking, adding, “I love 'em like nobody's business.'

Davis spoke to Inside Edition at his home in San Diego to explain himself.

'We have been watching the show for so long and people typically have the template of how they introduce their loved ones and I thought, ‘I didn’t want to do that,' he said. 'It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience and I wanted to give them a once-in-a-lifetime introduction.'

He said his family was in on the joke.

He also said of his 'rotten' grandson, 'He is the sweetest guy in the world, and he and I are best buddies.'
